Role Overview
We are seeking passionate software engineers to be part of our journey in building the identity layer for the internet. As a software engineer at FITS LAB, you will play a pivotal role in constructing features that allow our customers to effortlessly configure tailored identity verification solutions. Your responsibilities include monitoring, reviewing, and making decisions based on identity information. What You’ll Achieve
- Embrace and advocate for engineering best practices within the engineering and product team.
- Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and well-written documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.
- Work on complex initiatives collaboratively with other engineering teams.
- Develop elegant solutions to intricate problems, shaping system design and implementation technologies directly.
What You’ll Bring to FITS LAB
- BA/BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of work experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages: C/C++, Go, Python, Java, etc.
- Desire and ability to write production-quality code.
- Backend or full-stack development expertise.
- Fluency in data structures, algorithms, data modeling, and schema design.
- Experience in high-energy small startup environments.
- Knowledge of and expertise in software engineering best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
Compensation & Equity
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $130,000 – $200,000. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity packages recognizing the significant impact you will have on our mission.
